Boston detective Frank Shaw returns to duty after an injury leaves him with permanent hearing loss. Assigned to interpret for Ava Fremont, a deaf witness to a brutal gang murder, they find themselves trapped in an apartment building when the killers return to take her out. These two strangers must rely on each other to outwit the killers they can’t hear coming, because it’s their only hope of getting out alive.
